I wanted to work within the industry of fashion but wasn't sure of what exactly I want to do, this course offered a great opportunity to try my skills out in the different fields I was interested in.

The University appeared to have good ratings and the course itself ticked most boxes for me with the city being reasonable to move to in terms of living costs and lifestyle.

What was it like studying at Northumbria?

As it offers quite a big variety of lectures its normal that some of them you enjoy more than the others. Overall I was satisfied with the quality of the course and feedback given.

What was the best thing about your course?

That I was able to build my style and strong portfolio - that was the main reason why I landed my current job before I even graduated.

How did studying at Northumbria help you achieve your career goals/ give your career an edge?

It helped me to find myself as a creative professional, build my style, portfolio and confidence to enter the industry where the real challenges begin.

Which skills/ knowledge did you learn on your course that you use most now throughout your career?

Photoshop skills, an eye for detail and a sense of style.

What did you enjoy most about your time at Northumbria University?

Photography and the opportunity to work with design tutors and their students.

What advice would you give somebody who is thinking of studying at Northumbria?

Use every opportunity you will be given as only your own enthusiasm will take you where you aspire to be.
