Describe your current role and responsibilities.

Currently, I work in a communications agency where I lead consumer and B2B campaigns for automotive and insurance brands.

Why did you decide to study Fashion Communication at Northumbria?

The variety of modules offered on the course was a major selling point for me, alongside the experience that the lecturers offered.

What are the most useful skills that Fashion Communication taught you?

I found that the course enabled me to develop an adaptive writing style which has helped me massively in my career. Alongside this, the implementation of creative briefs was an invaluable skill to learn. The course also taught me the key skills, such as photography and Adobe, which are great to have in my armoury.

Did you get any work experience / internships while studying?

I worked at London Fashion Week as an intern.

What is the one piece of advice you would give this year’s graduates?

Don't feel like you have to have your career panned out as soon as you graduate - use the skills you learnt and try a few jobs before you find your niche.

Describe Fashion Communication in three words:

Creative, entrepreneurial, collaborative.
