Dr Nick Attwood

Assistant Professor

Department: Newcastle Business School

Nick joined Newcastle Business School in 2005 from Teesside University after five years leading undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. He teaches in the field of employment relations and employee rewards and has completed a PhD researching the interaction of employment relationships and reward systems. Nick lead the School’s professional doctorate programmes, the DBA and DBL from 2010 to 2015.

He is a member of British Universities Industrial Relations Association. Nick spent many years in local government and the trade union movement before becoming a Lecturer.

My main research interests concern theorising the links between the employment relationship and employee reward systems.
