Marks and Spencer

Marks And Spencer Project With Northumbria University Fashion Marketing - Alice NorthIn the summer of 2012 Marks & Spencer launched a brand new children's swim and beachwear range, ‘Seaside Memories’, designed by Fashion Design and Marketing student, Alice North.

The collection included 12 pieces for kid's from newborn to seven years. Marks & Spencer launched the collection to tie in with The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in June 2012.

The collection was designed as part of a collaborative brief set by M&S, where they asked our Fashion Design and Marketing students to develop a fresh new take on kidswear that could be translated into a wearable summer collection. Alice designed her collection based on the concept of the traditional British family seaside holiday.
