Northumbria University IP Showcase Event 2024

Northumbria University

-

The IP Commercialisation team (of Research and Innovation Services) is delighted to launch a showcase event to share stories of great innovations happening at Northumbria University. The event is for academics, researchers, PGRs and technicians to learn about how they can move their research towards commercial adoption through academic spinout or social enterprise creation, licensing and joint-venture opportunities.

Our Pro Vice Chancellor for Research and Knowledge Exchange, Professor Louise Bracken will be making the opening speech of the event. During the event, there will be academics describing their technology development journeys. There will be key external speakers from across the North-East knowledge economy discussing the importance of intellectual property in research, and funding and support for innovators.

Find out more and register to attend HERE or use the libcal link (https://northumbria-hr.libcal.com/event/4134498).
