Sustainability Management: A Systems Approach

Prof Neesham introduces the first systems theory-based textbook on Sustainability Management worldwide, This contextualises the role of responsible business within some of the most pressing issues of social justice, racial equity and human rights characterising today’s climate crisis. A set of 14 case Studies tied to UN Sustainable Development Goals feature innovative sustainability management approaches from diverse around the world.

About the presenter:

Dr Cristina Neesham is a Visiting Professor at Newcastle University Business School (UK), Adjunct Professor of Sustainability at Swinburne University of Technology (Australia), Adjunct Professor at Webster Vienna Private University (Austria), and Visiting Professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romania). She is widely published on theories of value in sustainable business models, and on applying digital technology ethics and responsible innovation to address global sustainability problems. She is co-Editor-in-Chief of the Springer Handbook of Philosophy of Management and the Philosophy of Management journal.
