Profits with Purpose - How Business School Alliances lift Young Futures and the Bottom Line

Tuesday 20th January 2026 | City Campus East, 1 Room 402 | 5 - 6:30pm, Refreshments from 4:30pm

Ryan Green, MarCommEd CIC

Ryan Green has spent nearly two decades at the intersection of education, technology, and communications, helping schools and businesses work better together to unlock both social and commercial value.

He began in 2005 by launching one of the UK’s first income generation platforms for schools with Pebble, during which time he became a strong advocate for corporate social responsibility. Through this work he actively brought businesses and schools together, creating partnerships that channelled investment, expertise, and opportunities back into education for the benefit of children and young people as well as the participating organisations.

Recognised for his expertise in building relationships and communications, Ryan has trained and presented to hundreds of education leaders across the UK. In 2016, the Department for Education commissioned him to explore new ways of supporting school business leaders, a role that cemented his position as a trusted voice in shaping strategy for the sector. Since then, he has worked with leading organisations including ASCL, NAHT, and ISBL, and has advised CEOs and COOs of some of England’s largest trusts on complex management and communications challenges while utilising local employers to support educational and social initiatives.

Ryan’s mission is clear: to show how purposeful storytelling and business-school alliances can strengthen educational outcomes, inspire young people’s futures, and at the same time deliver tangible value and profits to organisations that choose to invest in them.
