Dr Juan Zhang

Lecturer

Department: Computer and Information Sciences

Dr Juan Zhang is a Lecturer with the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, Northumbria University, U.K. She received a PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Exeter, U.K. and subsequently was a postdoctoral researcher with the Chair of High-Performance Computing at Helmut-Schmidt University/University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg, Germany.  Before that, she graduated from Beihang University, in Beijing, China. She has a multidisciplinary background,  having received an M.Sc. degree in Control Science and Engineering and a B.Eng degree in Mechanical Engineering. Her research interests include mobile edge computing, decision-making strategies, the Internet of Things, and future mobile networks. She is a member of IEEE.

Prospective Students: Highly motivated research students who are interested in solving challenging problems in mobile networking systems including connected autonomous vehicles, UAVs, etc. with advanced AI techniques are welcome to contact me.
