Open days and events

Want to know what it's like to be a Northumbria student? Attending one of our Open Days can help you experience the city and the university for yourself.

What can you expect on the day?

  • Registration and Check-in can be done at Sport Central at City Campus.

  • Head to your check-in destination where you can sign in and receive your Open Day pack, including the schedule for the day.

  • The Open Day Events run between 9am-3pm, drop in at any time, but be sure to check the Programme for the times of any sessions you want to attend on the day.

  • Visit our Central Exhibition space to discover more about our range of degrees, finance, the Northumbria community, and so much more.

  • Take a tour of our campus and its facilities, including our accommodation, and get a feel for what life is like on campus.

  • Ask any questions about courses, student life and the region. Get the answers you need to help decide if Northumbria is right for you.

Car Parking 

City Campus

Our car park at City Campus East will have a limited number of spaces available during the event – postcode NE1 2SU.

Alternative City centre Pay & Display car parks inlcude:

  • John Dobson Street - NE1 8HL
  • MEA House - NE1 8SX
  • College Street - NE1 8JG
  • Civic Centre - NE2 1DF
  • Manors - NE1 2LA
