Cultural Partnerships

May 2023 saw the first graduate Fine Art exhibition hosted jointly by Northumbria and Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art – just one example of the kind of distinctive cultural partnership activities for which Northumbria has become increasingly known and respected.

We are proud of our strategic cultural partnerships with New Writing North, Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums, Live Theatre, and the British Film Institute; and in different ways, these collaborative agreements all contribute to research, to our curriculum, to student opportunities, and to building the diversity and resilience of our cultural and creative sector more widely.
