The following changes were made based on feedback we received from you


Autism & the Workplace Conference 2025

You said you would like  stimming toys at the event.

At the 2025 event we had stimming toys on every table and a cosy corner.

You said you would like opportunities for group engagement .

The 2025 event incorporated opportunities for students to work in pairs/on their table.


You said
 that you would like speakers discuss personal challenges.

The 2025 event included questions about challenges as part of the panel discussion.

 

IGNITE

Activities on IGNITE are designed to spark career curiosity and further students’ career planning. To measure the success of IGNITE, students are asked to complete a Career Readiness survey at the beginning and end. As a result of taking part in IGNITE 2024, 60% of students (who completed the feedback survey) reported a shift and received a bespoke career plan based on their current Career Readiness stage. The changes in CR indicate the students were either more confident in their career planning or the programme had increased their awareness of new career paths, and they had embarked on a new cycle of career planning. As result of feedback, the following changes were made in 2005: 

You said you would like a finale celebration event.

IGNITE now includes a finale celebratory event with prize giving and certificates.


You said
you would like more regular interaction to practice skills.

IGNITE workshops were extended to allow more time for interaction.


You said
you would like variation of events on different days.

We offered 15 events over 3 weeks at different timings (morning, lunchtime, mid afternoon).


You said
you would like more online sessions.

We offered 4 hybrid events in 2025.
