Accreditation and Recognition

A course is awarded accreditation when it has been recognised by an independent body for its excellent quality and content.

If a course is accredited, it provides transferable skills from the classroom to a work environment, boosting graduate employability within the course. It ensures your course is continuously being held to the highest educational standards and practices.

Our Masters Programmes in Computer Science and Advanced Computer Science have accreditation with the BCS as do our current undergraduate programmes.

Our new undergraduate programmes are currently seeking accreditation. Our undergraduate programmes typically fully meet the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional (CITP) and Partial CEng. The accreditation also allows you to apply for professional membership of the BCS after you have successfully completed your degree.

Our MSc Cyber Security programme, delivered at our London campus, has received full certification from the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), a part of GCHQ.

Our information science postgraduate course, MSc Information Science (Data Analytics), is accredited by CILIP, the leading voice for the information, knowledge management and library profession.
