50TH ANNIVERSARY OF RICS

This year, Northumbria University is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its Surveying & Real Estate courses and partnership with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The University’s relationship with RICS dates back to 1973, when the first two programmes received Council for National Academic Awards award status and were accredited by RICS. Starting out with two cohorts of students, there are now over 10,000 graduates who have benefited from the partnership, with many going on to apply their learned experience in the sector.

The professional nature of these courses means that there is a strong focus on employability with Northumbria supporting the next generation of property graduates by providing a range of work-based learning opportunities, many of which are kindly donated by our graduate or corporate supporters.

Find out how you can get involved.
