Northumbria University, Newcastle. EDI Report 2024-25

192 colleagues attended EDI learning events. There was a 3% increase in the disclosure rate of disabilities. Northumbria University achieved Race Charter Bronze Award an an Institutional Silver Award for Gender Equality in 2024-25. 7 DFN Project SEARCH Internships were welcomed onto campus. 79 colleagues were provided with reasonable adjustments/DSE support. 12 places were funded for Equality Leadership Programmes. There were 197 nominations for this year's SHINE Awards.
