The NENC Regional Imaging Academy and Northumbria University are proud to bring you the first Interventional Radiology Masterclass. This online webinar is delivered for staff with experience within the speciality to further enhance your knowledge of Interventional Radiology.

With a mixture of clinical sessions and an update from the National Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) IR team this session aims to enhance your knowledge of the complexities of the delivery of a safe Interventional Radiology Service. The webinar is aimed at all staff working within the speciality.

Key Note Speaker: Gill Kitching

Gill Kitching is a radiographer with over 20 years of experience in Interventional Radiology at Manchester Foundation Trust, including previously as an Advanced Practice Radiographer performing vascular access and nephrostomy exchanges. Since 2021 she has been the service lead of this busy IR centre and supports a large team of cross site radiographers and nurses.

Gill is the clinical advisor in the NHSE Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) IR workstream, visiting over 120 Trusts in England that deliver IR services, with the aim of reducing unnecessary variation in service provision, helping sites with their operational challenges and looking for areas of innovative and best practice.
