Business Lecturer delivers summer school in Croatia

21st June 2018

Dr Wasim Ahmed, Lecturer in Digital Business at Newcastle Business School, recently delivered an international digital marketing summer school (now in its second year) in Vodice Croatia.

Attendees included those from the largest media organisation in Croatia ‘Hanza Media’, academics from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences, Salford University, and also academics from Zagreb University of Applied Sciences.

Dr Ahmed said: “In today’s ever increasing digital landscape it’s become important for academics and industry researchers to have knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques for extracting intelligence from data such as social media. Our summer school aimed to bridge the gap between theory and practice and received very positive feedback”
