Garry Elvin

Assistant Professor

Department: Computer and Information Sciences

I joined Northumbria University in 2003 as a Senior Lecturer. During my time in this post my roles included: year tutor, coordinator for collaborative ventures programmes (both in the UK and overseas), and programme leader. In 2010, I was promoted to Principal Lecturer in the role of Programme Director – Engineering.

My qualifications include: BSc (Honours) Computing, MPhil in Computing, and Postgraduate Certificate in Education.

My teaching interests are primarily in web design and development, including web programming. I enjoy the opportunity to help others learn and succeed that teaching provides
