Sarah Foster is an academic psychologist who teaches psychological and research concepts to students on Social Work and Guidance and Counselling degree courses.

Sarah undertakes research exploring applications and implications of attachment theory in clinical and social work practice. Along with Professor Robbie Duschinsky at Cambridge University, Sarah is currently co-leading a 4 1/2 year Wellcome Discovery Award project examining whether measures of attachment and attachment-relevant caregiving are helpful or unhelpful to assessments of child mental health and safeguarding needs.
