Michelle Littlemore

Assistant Professor

Department: Mechanical and Construction Engineering

Michelle comes from a background in Commercial Project Management and, having studied Building Project Management at Northumbria University for 5 years part time, has obtained a wealth of industrial experience. Projects that she has been involved in include; Newcastle Library, Silverburn Shopping Centre, Glasgow, Hilton Hotel, Liverpool Docks, numerous office developments nationwide and Building Schools for the Future projects in the North West, to name but a few.

Having achieved a first class honours degree and having been awarded the Tolent Best Student Achievement Prize and the CIOB Certificate of Excellence, Michelle was inspired to change career and join the Project Management team in the Faculty of Engineering and Environment as an Academic 10 years ago. This has enabled her to further her research interest into Change Management and the impact change has on behaviour and working practices in the construction industry

Michelle has a particular passion for creating opportunities for students and enriching their professional and academic experience through extra curricula activities such as student conferences, CPD events with APM and PMI, exhibitions, career fairs and networking events.

Hobbies and interests include, my family, running, music and interior design
