I assist in the delivery and development of the pre-registration Nursing degree at Northumbria university whilst undergoing a programme of doctoral study. I am involved in the delivery, assessment, and development of pre-registration mental health nursing curriculum. I have the responsibility as the guidance tutor for a tutor group of nursing students. I am the Erasmus link tutor for Niort, France, and deliver guest lectures across a number of other institutions,.

My PhD project is looking at "The Needs and Experiences of Parents Across the ADHD Diagnostic Journey: A Longitudinal Study".
My passions within teaching are primarily children's mental health, mental health stigma, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
