Beverly Walsh

Beverley Walsh, BSc MCLIP. Deputy Librarian

I have worked in the NHS since 1986, originally in the Pharmacy Department at Kent & Canterbury Hospital, then moving to Medical Records at Maidstone Hospital, and then to the library. I have worked here at WSH in the library since 2003, just as we moved to the new Education Centre.

My main areas of work are supervising the library desk activities, line managing the library assistants, carrying out evidence searches, and training in finding the evidence, critiquing papers and medical terminology.

The part of my job that I find most rewarding is supporting students and staff through their academic endeavours. It is truly a privilege to help our staff and students to become the best they can be and seeing them achieve their goals.
