Northumbria University welcomes applicants from Ukraine with a range of qualifications across our pathway, undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses.

Please note that the following are general entry guidelines for students from Ukraine. Actual requirements may vary depending on your chosen course of study, and some courses may have specific or additional entry criteria; full details are available in our course directory. Decisions for entry will also be based on personal statements and previous study information, not just your final course grading.

Although some courses have specific requirements for entry, Northumbria will consider any qualification for entry to its courses.

For entry to: You will need: Grade Required:
International Foundation Programme High School qualifications (Attestat) / Certificate of Independent External Examination GPA 4.5
1st Year Undergraduate Junior Specialist Diploma 4 .0/5 or 7/12
Postgraduate Programmes Bachelor Degree with Honours (obtained post 2007) 4 .0/5 or 7/12 for courses requiring a UK 2:2 equivalent

4.5/5 or 9/12 for courses requiring a UK 2:1 equivalent
Graduate Certificate Bachelor Degree 3/5 or 4/12
