Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

Most reputable establishment for the subject and specialised labs equipped with industry standard software.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

I was shocked to find you can order desserts e.g. Cakes/ Sweets and have them delivered to your door like a take-away.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Fantastically well organised and everyone was approachable and gave you the information you needed. Tutors were great at breaking the ice and we're very down to earth - even attempted banter!

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

The 24 hours a day library.

What is your favourite place on campus?

The Zone!

What is the best thing about your course?

Forensic software and specialised hardware in the lab.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

Start my own business combing the technical IT skills of my course and existing area of work.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Check the content of your course and critically assess the probability of using these skills in your future job.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Busy, Stressful, Rewarding!
