Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

I thought it was a great university with fantastic facilities in a brilliant location.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

I think its a great city. Lovely people,scenery and lots to do. 

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

The public transport is top notch. The shopping is good too!

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes very easy to fit in and very welcoming.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

The change of scenery is great and meeting new people is also a plus.

Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?

Numerous lecturers.

What is the best thing about your course?

The lecturers and fellow students are great and very friendly and helpful.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I want to be a qualified physiotherapist. I have many skills which I have learned through the years for example First Aid, CPR etc. A hands on friendly approach is always good in my area of work.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Do it. It will be such a good experience and you will make tonnes of friends.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I think I have become more confident and more independent as I live by myself and have to do everything for myself.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Exciting, challenging, fun
