It was the university I liked best out of the few which did this course.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

I love Newcastle. I enjoy going out with my flatmates and friends and finding new places to eat and have a chat together.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

How easy it is to navigate, it's great that I can get everywhere I need to on foot.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming?

I did find Northumbria welcoming, and I feel like I fit in easily.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

Making new friends.

Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?

Neil Beattie, with his endless enthusiasm.

What is your favourite place on campus?

The quad on a sunny day. It's a great place to have a revision session with mates and enjoy the weather.

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects?  

Member of the pole society, it's great to learn a new skill which helps keep me fit also.

What is the best thing about your course?

The course mates. They're happy to help with any issues, whether you speak to them all the time or only sometimes, it's a great little community.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Don't leave assignments to the last minute because handing in early is a fantastic feeling!

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I'd like to do a PhD. I've definitely improved my organisational skills, which will be useful in all aspects of life.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University?

Definitely become more confident, and more caring - happy to help people with their course issues or with any other issues they may have.

If you had three words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Fun, happy, and different.

Would you recommend Northumbria University to a friend?

Yes, definitely.
