Why did you decide to study a masters?

I wanted to be able to offer more to my future employers.

Why did you choose Northumbria University? Why did you choose your specific course?

I did my undergrads at Northumbria. I was already very familiar with the campus and the city of Newcastle. Since I'm an International student, that was a very important factor for me. I choose to do an LLM in International Commercial Law because I wanted to branch out into the legal corporate industry.

What makes your specific course challenging/inspiring/different? How would you sum up the difference between Undergraduate and Postgraduate study?

To sum it all up, it's a different ball game.

What was it like studying at Northumbria? What are the different ways that you learn on your course?

The overall experience is really difficult to put in words. But life-changing would be a good place to start at.

How connected is your course with industry? Do you have the opportunity of placement, work on projects?

My course is intertwined with international commercial transactions that go beyond the limits of the legal industry in the United Kingdom. I am currently working on final project for my Masters, hopefully there will be opportunities for placements.

What impressed you most about our academic staff?

The academic staff's capability to show their organizational skills with finesse.

How accessible do you find our staff? Do you feel at ease?

Very helpful and assuring.

As a postgraduate student, what aspects of university life are important to you?

A proper balance of everything.

My course is of an International nature. Hence, what I learn won't be constricted to the United Kingdom only but may apply to various parts of the world commercially.

Have you changed as a person?

Yes, I feel more confident about my future.

Confident Self-dependant  Organized
