Our Alumni - Work For Us
Ending poverty requires activity connected to a large number of the Sustainable Development Goals including developing economies, reducing corruption, achieving gender equality and adapting to a changing climate. Our research and operations support these Goals, and we also undertake work with a specific focus on supporting lives of the poorest communities both
in the UK and abroad.
In the Spotlight: Centre for International Development
The Centre for International Development is an inter-disciplinary team which brings together academics, practitioners and students to tackle issues of global poverty and inequality. The Centre collaborates with organisations and communities across the world to deliver impactful projects that address global development challenges. Some of the themes the Centre explores include volunteering, activism, international migration, governance, environmental resources and sustainability.

Our Centre for Global Development is globally recognised for impactful and co-produced research, bringing together academics, practitioners and students to promote research, consultancy, teaching, training and public engagement on issues of global poverty and inequality, the communities and individuals who experience this, and the policies, practices and approaches that seek to address it.
