Statement on Ukraine conflict

The conflict in Ukraine is a tragic situation and we know that it is a distressing time for our students, staff and alumni. Our thoughts are with everyone affected at this difficult time.

We are in full support of Universities UK position on the Ukraine conflict.

The health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and students continues to be our number one priority. We are already offering guidance and support to individuals who may be affected by the situation, which includes access to 24hr support networks, crisis councillors and other one-to-one welfare support as needed.

In view of recent events and the sanctions that the UK has implemented against the Russian state, we are reviewing our collaborations to take account of any potential security risks. There are no students in Russia or Ukraine on placements or on study abroad schemes, and there are no staff in either country, at this time.
