Newcastle City Campus

The City Campus is in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne, just a couple of roads from the main shopping areas and cultural centres. The campus marries a unique combination of innovative contemporary buildings with historical sites that have been listed because of their heritage and grandeur. The University has invested more than £250 million in its estate over the last decade and our campus is continuously evolving to create an environment where you can shape your future.

Some of the City Campus highlights include:

  • City Campus East – multiple award-winning building which is home to Business, Law and Design courses
  • Student Central – our one stop shop for student enquiries and the University Library
  • Our brand new Computer and Information Sciences Building and high-tech laboratories for Life Sciences and Engineering
  • The historical Sutherland Building which will soon house new Architecture Studios
  • Sport Central – our state-of-the-art sport facility
