Dr Marika Nemeckova

My research focuses on sepsis recognition, clinical decision-making, complexity science and patient safety in critical care nursing. I am particularly interested in developing and evaluating educational interventions that support nurses’ adaptive expertise in complex and uncertain clinical situations. My wider research interests include health professions education, evidence synthesis and alarm fatigue.
