Dr Henry Ogbeide

Dr. Henry Ogbeide is a lecturer in analytics at Newcastle Business School. His research focuses on financial judgmental forecasting, expert judgment and decision making in a variety of contexts, risk perception and risk assessment. He has over twelve years of financial industry experience, which has benefited his research. In particular, his experience in the banking industry has enabled him to formulate research questions in a way that emphasises the concerns of practitioners as well as those highlighted by the academic literature. His research interests focus on integrating economics, finance, statistics and psychology in the formation and evaluation of point and probability forecasts, particularly risk-judgmental estimations, expert judgment, risk perception, anti-money laundering risk assessment.
