Dr Leanne Wake

Assistant Professor

Department: Geography and Environmental Sciences

I am an Earth system scientist who has broad interests in improving the simulation of a range of geophysical processes in Earth-land-atmosphere system.

Leanne Wake

I am interested in the representation of a broad range of Earth system processes in computational models. My recent work has focussed on understanding land-atmosphere interactions in the boreal forest zone and how they impact snow cover. My research also has strong focus on the recent (Holocene) behaviour of the Greenland Ice Sheet and regional sea level change
