Student Parking FAQ

Hunt and Park Permits are available for City Campus and are currently valid in the following car parks:

  • Lipman Car Park
  • Camden Street Car Park
  • CCE Main Car Park
  • CCE Business & Law Car Park
  • Old Sport Centre Car Park

Please note: Applications for student city campus parking permits will open late August 2023. The Scheme will be 100% Hunt & Park - there are no private bays. Permits will be allocated on the basis of distance travelled to the University. Blue Badge permits will be free of charge. Permits will be valid from 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2024.

Pay and display parking is available on the east side of the campus. From 1 September 2022, all staff and students purchasing a pay and display ticket will be required to display a Pay and Display Permit in their vehicle.

Blue Badge holders will be able to park free of charge; please make an application and you will be contacted with confirmation of your blue badge permit.

Please see the Travelling to the University pages for more information.

If you do not have a valid permit or pay and display ticket where applicable, to park on University premises clearly displayed in your vehicle, you will be issued with a Car Parking Charge Notice.

The issuing and administration of car parking charge notices is handled by APCOA Parking UK Limited, not the University.
