Visitor Parking

The University recognises the key role it has to play in caring for the environment and therefore we encourage the use of public transport by staff, students and visitors in order to reduce the environmental impact of commuting.

A request to book a visitor parking bay can only be placed by a University staff member - not by the visitor themselves or a student.

Staff, please visit the intranet page for booking information.

There are dedicated visitor car parking spaces available at City Campus East and at Coach Lane East:

City Campus East

Visitor and transitional spaces are available in CCE Main car park. This car park is located next to the Nursery and is accessed via Falconer Street. Address: CCE Car Park, NE2 1UY.

Any vacant bay can be used with the exception of the Nursery drop-off bays and the electric charging bays. A permit will be provided by the staff member who placed the booking and this must be printed and displayed on the car dashboard – failure to do so may result in the issue of a Parking Charge Notice.

Coach Lane Campus East

There are 38 visitor/transitional spaces located at Coach Lane Campus East (bays V1 to V10 and 566-593). There is no visitor parking on the West Campus. Address: Coach Lane Campus (East), NE7 7XA
