Newcastle Congregations
The next Newcastle congregations will be take place between Thursday 9 July to Wednesday 15 July 2026
Invitations will be sent out to all eligible students at the end of March. Your invitation will include a link to book tickets, instructions about how to hire your gown and what to do before the day.

Deferring your ceremony if you cannot attend
If you cannot attend your congregation ceremony for personal reasons, you can apply for deferral. Once you have received your invitation, you can opt to attend a future ceremony by completing the Deferral Application Form. Please note if you wish to attend a Congregation, you must attend within one year of being awarded. You should apply for deferral before the date of your original ceremony, any deferral applications submitted retrospectively will not be considered.
