INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH THEMES

BACK TO RESEARCH

Northumbria's Interdisciplinary Research Themes (IDRTs) are central to the research landscape of Northumbria University. These interdisciplinary communities of practice bring together expertise from across the University to tackle today’s most urgent regional, national, and global challenges. By working across departments, IDRTs amplify the impact of existing research, spark new collaborations, and open doors to major funding opportunities. They are where bold ideas meet real-world solutions.
