Stuart Anderson

Biography

Stuart is a native of the North East, born in Darlington in 1952. On leaving school in 1970 he went straight into employment and qualified as a CPA Accountant in 1981. Stuart worked for a number of local authorities but mainly the City of Sunderland where he had the pleasure of project managing the redevelopment of the Sunderland Empire Theatre and was on the development board for the 50 meter swimming pool. He retired from the rigours of work in 2007 to pursue a long held ambition to study for a degree, which was achieved in 2010, followed by a Masters in 2011. He is married with two daughters and three grandchildren. A lifelong supporter of Sunderland AFC has provided more heartache than pleasure. Until recently he was a swimming coach (22years) and still plays competitive table tennis.
