Lifang Wei , Northumbria UniversityBiography

I completed my BA in 2004 in China University of Petroleum and then received my MA in China University of Petroleum in 2007 majoring in English Language and Literature. Since 2007 I have worked as a lecturer in Zhejiang Yuexiu University of Foreign Languages in China and taught intensive English, English reading, etc. for freshmen and sophomores of English majors. I started my doctoral training program in Northumbria University in September 2011 and began my PhD program in Northumbria University in February 2012.

Thesis

My thesis is on a cross-cultural comparison of requests in classroom interactions in native English and Chinese undergraduate classrooms.
