Get On and Innovate

Focused support towards bringing your new idea to life

The objective of Get On & Innovate is to collaboratively apply creative methods to animate a specific business opportunity. The programme offers you dedicated support from our Design Innovation experts. Together, you will use industry proven design-led approach to help you tackle a challenging idea, build validity and anticipate crucial steps towards implementation!

The key benefits:

De-risking the development

“What are the risks involved, how big are they, and how do we respond?”

  • Creatively test different scenarios to gain robust insights and to reveal your options.
  • Find the right pace of implementation and better understand time-critical elements.

Articulating the worth

“How can we have confidence that the idea is worth pursuing and justify this to others?”

  • Look beyond financial returns, consider all the kinds of value that your idea could create for your enterprise.
  • Identify the benefits that your idea could offer over longer timeframes, for a wider audience.

Understanding the transformation

“What does this change mean for us, our network, stakeholders and people who use our products and services?"

  • Carefully explore the positive impacts of the innovation whilst looking out for any pitfalls to be avoided.
  • Envision the future potential of your idea, so that you can more effectively work towards your goals.

The 12 hours of fully-funded contact time with our design innovation experts is split into three core workshops, exploring and analysing the idea, putting it into context, and identifying crucial decisions. The bespoke programme includes tailored hands-on sessions in between these workshops, used for mentoring and practical fact-finding and testing activities. The programme is designed to run over 6-8 weeks in order to allow you to develop the idea in parallel to the support.

Stage 1 – Interrogate the idea: we will co-investigate your idea to understand it from your point of view in detail, what makes it exciting, what feels challenging about it.

Stage 2 – Put it into context: we will co-analyse many of the relevant factors surrounding your idea and explore the impact and influences of these in relation to your business goals.

Stage 3 – Visualise key decisions: we will help you identify important decision points, options and preferences to collaboratively develop decision-making criteria, tailored to keep you on track.

Get On And Innovate is an opportunity for your business to take advantage of industry-proven expertise, to build strong insights that help you de-risk your idea, to communicate its full worth, and to grasp the nature and scale of change involved.
