Following a successful inaugural conference in London in 2025, the Northern Hub for Veterans & Military Families' Research, in collaboration with the Royal Hospital Chelsea,  is hosting the second Aged Veterans Research Conference at Northumbria University.

Insight from last year revealed that advocacy for ageing veterans is too often compromised by a lack of evidence. This year's theme tackles that gap head-on, showcasing the breadth and value of research shaping better health, social care, and support for older veterans.

On the day, you'll hear from:

• Researchers and practitioners from Northumbria University, University of Glasgow, King's College London, Trent University, and the Royal Hospital Chelsea
• Postgraduate researchers presenting emerging findings
• An international perspective on meeting the needs of ageing veterans
