Dr Victoria Bazin

Victoria BazinI did my first degree in American Studies which included a year at the University of Minnesota. I then went on to study for an MA in English literature at King’s College, London followed by a brief period in publishing. I returned to academia taking up a lectureship in American literature at Middlesex University from 1990-1992.  I then taught at the University of East Anglia while studying for a PhD (1992-96).  

After this I went to York University in 1995 and joined Northumbria University in 1996. I have published journal articles on twentieth century women’s writing including editing a special issue on women and age and recently completed a monograph on the poet Marianne Moore. I also act as a peer reviewer for the AHRC.
