Professor Jason Scott

School: Communities and Education

Jason is a Professor of Applied Health Research, with expertise in the development, implementation and evaluation of innovations in the organisation and delivery of health and social care. He holds various leadership roles, including being Deputy Director of the IDEAS National Evaluation Team, Academic Lead of the Frequent Caller National Network, and School Postgraduate Research Co-Lead.

 

He has received over £7m of funding from prestigious funders including the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), The Dunhill Medical Trust and The Health Foundation. In his research, he utilises a range of qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods, drawing upon and developing theories from the social sciences.
