Our AlumniThe four research groups in our Cellular & Molecular Sciences area, comprising more than 60 staff, address a broad range of subjects, from chemical sciences to microbiological and biomedical sciences, including nutrition and food research, often supported by multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary collaborative approaches. Much of this work is underpinned by molecular methods and an integrated ‘multi-Omics’ approach, enabled by our outstanding facilities for genomics, metabolomics and proteomics. Researchers in Cellular & Molecular Sciences also contribute to the University’s multidisciplinary research theme (MDRT) ‘Biodesign for the Bioeconomy’.
