The Humanities Department has made significant investments that will greatly benefit you throughout your studies.

Learning from the best at Northumbria isn’t just about being taught by staff members that are committed to helping you develop your skills to their full potential, it also means that you will have access to the best facilities and resources.

The Humanities Department has made significant investments that will greatly benefit you throughout your studies. Investments include not only the hiring of a significant number of highly research active staff in both History and English, but also direct support for students through studentships.

Staff members in English and History have also developed one-stop portals for you that provide access to a wealth of digital resources for your study, while the Humanities Learning Portal serves as your gateway to studying in the Humanities.
