Topics will include internal and external factors affecting sport organisations, formulating strategic options and implementing and evaluating plans.

How will I learn on this module?

You will learn through lectures, workshops, and independent learning. The lectures will cover theories and concepts that will enable you to tackle a series of guided exercises. You will work on these during seminar sessions to apply theory to practice alongside real life sport strategic plans. You will undertake practice in developing your presentation skills and obtain tutor feedback on the content and skills.

How will I be supported academically on this module?

In addition tutors will respond to questions via the module’s discussion board at the University’s eLearning Portal (eLP) so that the whole group can benefit. Module tutors will use online resources and the eLP to provide support materials. Prior to summative assessments module staff will deliver an assessment briefing session. After assessment one, feed-forward will be provided by staff to assist with assessment two.
