Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?
I love the place and the university. I had feed back from the consultancy which was really good. and I had checked in online about the university in detail and the ranking of it was good. I felt I would enjoy my studies in this university.
What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?
I like the place the area is good and calm too. the football ground is so exciting to watch. Newcastle is one of the best places. I have experienced all the fun in my life. Eldon square, Metro, Angel of the North, all other places are so good to see and nearby to hang around too.
What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?
Newcastle is a small, beautiful city which has easy access to all the places I like to visit. Initially the design building impressed me alot and the library is the place where I can stay 20 hours studying! I love the university.
Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?
Yes, the faculty and other staff member are very friendly and helpful. I understood easily and though I knew if I had any enquiries it was OK to visit the staff to help me.

Apart from my design topics, I enjoy working with all the other professional students which have helped to give me ideas about how important each profession is, as well as how to work in team together with different cultures within a society

I have learned how to deal with people from different cultures during group work. I have learned the importance of branding and its identity, as well as how to establish a good business in the market, and the key factors which could help to make it successful.
What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?
I would like to join a firm where I could learn more about the technology in the design field following that I would like to establish a firm of my own.
Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement? What were your most memorable experiences?
When I came to the university we were working on service design to HIV patients which made me learn about the importance of life and how to deal with it. We have designed an e-learning portal to help them access resources and give them psychological strength to face problems in life.
