George Stobbart

I have over 19 years of delivering and managing youth work in Oxford and the North East.

I have recently spent 10 years as a Deputy Principal of a community primary school in Sunderland.  This role included developing: day care and after school provision, work with families and Children’s Centre provision. The area is a located in an area of multiple social disadvantages and also a dispersal location for refugee and asylum seeker families.   Consequently, I developed an interest in the welfare of children and their families particularly in the context of community cohesion.

Since 2012 I have been a lecturer in Early Childhood and Youth Studies at Teesside  University.
