Submit a poster abstract

Call for Abstracts for Posters

To present a poster both online and in-person, prepare an abstract of no more than 250 words and submit your proposal via Oxford Abstracts.

  • The deadline to submit a poster proposal is Thursday 3rd December 2026.
  • Final decisions on poster selection will be communicated by Thursday 14th January 2027.
  • If your poster proposal is accepted, you need to register to attend the conference or to present online by Thursday 12th February 2027.

All selected posters submitted by postgraduate researchers (PGRs) members of the SLSA will be entered into a competition. The winner of the Best Poster Prize will be awarded a monetary prize and a certificate. Find out more.

Please note that you must make it clear whether your proposal is an abstract for a paper or a poster – it is not possible to submit the same abstract for both.
