Clare Elliott

Having taught at the universities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Teesside, I joined Northumbria University in 2011 as Lecturer in Nineteenth-Century Literature. My publishing and research activity lie in the nineteenth century with particular interests in Transatlantic Literary Studies, American Romanticism, slavery and the long nineteenth century.
