My research interests are focused on the way that sports coaches approach the task of planning for performance  and competition.  My current research draws on sociological thinking and symbolic interactionism to examine coahcng practice to support our understanding of coaches practices. My research id curently focused on athletics coaches with the aimto explore other individual and team sports.
